Warehouse Relocation Service in Springfield, IL
When a business changes buildings, the rack is usually the hardest thing to move. Our warehouse relocation service takes down, labels, moves and reinstalls pallet rack and storage systems, and we draw the new building before the first bolt comes out.
Many Springfield moves go from an older 16-24 ft clear building on the north or south side into newer 28-36 ft clear space along I-55 or I-72. Rack you own has to be replanned for the new height, not just carried across town.
What Our Warehouse Moving Services Cover

Count the rack you own
Every frame, beam, deck and accessory, with style and capacity noted and damaged pieces set aside.
Draw the new building

Fit check
New clear height, column spacing and aisle widths checked against your rack and forklifts.
Teardown and labeling
Rows taken down and tagged so each piece goes back where it belongs.

How We Differ From General Warehouse Movers
Warehouse movers and warehouse relocation companies usually focus on inventory and machines. We focus on the storage racks themselves. That means checking beam capacity against your pallets, re-spacing levels for a new clear height and redrawing aisles for the forklifts you will run in the new building.
We are happy to work alongside the warehouse moving companies you hire for product. We share the schedule so rack comes down just ahead of the movers in the old building and goes up just ahead of them in the new one.
Common Moves Around Springfield
Tenants leaving older tilt-ups in the Springfield Industrial Park often head for newer last-mile buildings on the north side near Sangamon Avenue and the I-55 / I-72 junction. Others move out to Airport Commerce Park on Route 4 or the west side along Veterans Parkway.
Each move is a chance to switch rack types. A move into taller space may justify pushback rack for deep SKUs or pallet flow for dated product. Most buildings still run on selective pallet rack, and long stock moves onto cantilever.
We also handle moves between towns, such as into new distribution at the Chatham interchange, near the inland port in Decatur or into rail-served space in Lincoln.
Scheduling Around the Weather
Winter snow and ice slow trucks and freeze unheated docks. Summer heat makes long days hard in buildings without air conditioning, and spring brings severe storms. We plan moves with those seasons in mind and build in slack. Our team handles the permit side for you.
