For a standard 48-inch-deep pallet, start with 42-inch-deep uprights. Height must fit clear height and loaded forklift lift. Common beams are 96 inches for two 40-inch pallets, 108 inches and 144 inches for three. Measure the loaded pallet, not just the empty base.

How many positions can a lower-clear building hold?
